Programs and How to Get Involved

We work to create and foster awareness of environmental issues in a Jewish context by bringing together activists in the field and relating these issues to Judaism. Additionally, Shomrei Adamah helps to bridge the gap between environmental activists and Judaism by educating and connecting people with the foundation and history of Jewish ecology.

Shomrei Adamah’s work involves: holiday celebrations, speaker series, book talks, movies, lectures and other educational efforts, synagogue outreach (greening synagogues) and activism such as participation in local and national environmental campaigns.
